Accountant II, experienced with G/L analysis, Journal entries, financial statement analysis, and responsible for preparing financials and various periodic reports and filings.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversee and Review A/P and A/R activities and make recommendations for process improvement
  • Manage Credit and Debit adjustments
  • Prepare Borrowing Base Certificate for Asset Based Lending

JOB COST ANALYST (click here for details)

The Job Cost Analyst is responsible for ensuring accurate costs are provided for Estimating and Contracts departments for re-quoting, audits, and all other job cost needs as management requires. Will also be required to assist in analyzing costs, finding at risk jobs, providing profitability reporting, calculating Overhead rates, establishing the estimate at completion to proactively identify problem jobs, and assist in other accounting activities.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Run Costing reports weekly and monthly to evaluate parts shipped and show profitability
  • Audit completed jobs, verify all required costs are posted and close jobs monthly as months are closed
  • Review cost elements such as labor, material, sub-contracting, and processing and ensure accuracy
  • Review completed jobs and close them upon receipt of all final costs
  • Assist with Estimating by analyzing repeat jobs before accepting new orders from customers
  • Communicate actual costs and hours to Engineering Department to update estimates on templates for upcoming jobs
  • Audit Job Data to ensure estimates and work centers and all costing related fields are correct
  • Analyze business processes, technologies, and employees, and make recommendations to management accordingly
  • Make recommendations to management based on findings to improve productivity and efficiencies
  • Review Utilization of direct employees and alert management of departments with productivity decreases
  • Analyze Account procedures and make recommendations for best-business and GAAP compliance

  • Advanced Excel skills (Macros, VBA, functions, graphs, pivot charts, vlookup, simulations, solver, etc.)

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 5 years experience with CNC machines

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Both Electrical and mechanical knowledge is a plus plus

  • Trouble shoot, repair, install and maintain CNC mills
  • Modify systems and equipment to meet manufacturing requirements
